ABOUT US

VENUES, & SPECIAL EVENTS PLEASE

A nomadic series of pop-up jazz club events run by musicians.

Since starting in London, Hidden Jazz Club shows have popped up in Tokyo, Barcelona, New York, Los Angeles, Paris, and San Francisco.

Whilst the club remains a platform for incredible local talent, we have also been visited by Grammy Award winners and internationally acclaimed jazz musicians.

As musicians ourselves, we showcase artists we are inspired by. We are passionate about ensuring that our shows represent the awesome diversity of the cities we work in and that wonderful musicians are celebrated on the basis of their talent and performance, regardless of ethnicity, socio-economic background, age, gender, orientation etc.

We design our shows to be uplifting and welcoming experiences that are accessible to jazz nerds and complete newcomers alike. We prize authenticity and we create an environment in which audiences and musicians alike are respected and appreciated.

WHAT THE MUSICIANS SAY . . .

"Hidden Jazz Club is one of the best and most wholesome experiences one can hope to have in London. Celebrating the vibrance of the UK jazz scene, the stage hosts a freaking playfulness that makes me feel grateful to be a part of the community. The founders Theo and Jannine have poured their hearts into this celebration of music, creating an experience that matches the vibrancies of the city itself"

Cherise (Jazz FM Awards Vocalist of the Year Winner 2019)

"Hidden Jazz is easily one of my favourite places to perform in London.

I've had the privilege of being a featured musician at Hidden Jazz for several years,

and it has been incredibly rewarding to witness the event's expansion

and to contribute to an evening that is equally enjoyable for both the performers and the audience"

Daniel Casimir (Jazz FM Awards Best Instrumentalist Winner 2021)

"There's always a sense of connection between the musicians & the audience. It gives it a more homely, informal feeling that you don't get in many other performance spaces. The warmth of the audience leaves you, as a performer, wanting to give something great".

Binker Golding (MOBO Award Winner, Jazz FM Awards Best Instrumentalist Winner 2020)
